周瑩瑩 さん 2017年度 博士課程入学 (Zhou Yingying, Doctor course student from 2017)

 

Q1. Please tell me about your origin (university of your undergraduate and/or master course)
A1: Undergraduate: University of Science and Technology of China (中国科学技術大学); Master: Hokkaido University(北海道大学)

Q2. Why did you determine to join our lab?
A2: When I considered taking doctor course, my former assistant professor of Hokkaido university recommended uchimoto laboratory. He told me Prof. Uchimoto is one of powerful persons in battery research project in Japan. After visiting the lab, I find this lab is fully equipped, and this group has a widely research topic about electrochemistry and energy. Through discussion with Prof. Uchimoto, I think he is knowledgeable and friendly. Besides, Prof. Uchimoto could support me on my life during doctor course. Thus, I think joining Uchimoto lab is a chance to improve myself on academic and research ability.

Q3. What do you think about Uchimoto lab ?
A3: Uchimoto Lab is a very nice place to do scientific research. The laboratory is fully equipped. Professors help us as much as they can. Every student can utilize the beamline in SPring 8 every semester. Students have lots of chances to attend academic conferences, not only domestic meetings, but also international conferences. Both students and staffs are friendly to each other. I received a lot of help in my life due to my poor Japanese.
